I have been a musician - performer and composer - for close to 50 years, and I've been playing guitar for about 42 of those years. I have become mostly a player of Blues as of late and recently was invited to be the lead guitarist of a revived Blues-Rock 60's band. This picture is of me, and yes, Les Paul! And that's my Les Paul Deluxe, which I play along with my Clapton signature stratocaster.

This is dedicated to my wife Mary, who was a indeed a Long Way From Home when I recorded this. 

This song is more Grahme Leadbetter than myself - I play lead guitar, but the rest of the song is all him. Listen to more of his music on our shared page - Tired Starlings at

I really have no idea what genre this belongs in best, but my feelings at the time I recorded the leads, were ones of Blues and loneliness, so this is where it is coming to rest. 

The two leads I sent to Grahme were the first and second take of me playing with his backing, and it's a testament to how wonderful his song is that I found the solo I wanted right away. This is actually the second of the two I recorded, so it's the second take, but unedited by me, so this comes to you raw-with warts-but with love.
