I'm a songwriter; lyricist mainly. Give a listen to the songs I have posted and see what you think. I'll be changing them out from time to time so you'll be able to get an idea of the different areas I write in. If you like what you hear and feel they are right for you as an artist or your band, please get in touch with me. If you like to cowrite, you've come to the right place! Give me a shout and let's write that perfect song! Look forward to hearing from you, James

Story behind the song
Wrote this with one of my best friends and co writer Daniel Link. He was looking for something different to add to his latest album. I think he came to the right songwriter, don't you folks! LOL!!!
Lyrics
South of Your Borders ©2005 Lyrics: James Odle, Jr. Music: Daniel Link I caught Herb Albert while listening to the radio today reminded me of the taxi two strangers shared in Monterey that driver never understood why we said, "stop at the hotel bar," we decided that was better than his funky little car You paid for dinner I borrowed a guitar from the band when I asked if you could sing the tequila said, "I can" we sang of summer nights and lovers Bartender caught the tab that night we had the crowd in the palm of our hands we were clickin' alright........... Here in the fading light I'm headed south tonight Stars and moon glowing They know where I'm going High on your charms Wrapped in your arms Where it all felt right South of your borders tonight (instrumental verse) (repeat chorus)
