A definite work in progress!
Writing with friends, we wanted to use a couple of familiar stories from the Bible, but tell them in first person. We chose the woman at the well and decided to place her with the 5,000 hearing Jesus talk by the sea of Galilee. She probably would have been frustrated with life, but hearing Jesus in the group might have changed her way of thinking. Then, if Jesus had made a direct encounter, she would have truly been a new person. So, how to put that into a song...
