Story behind the song
I had a song and needed a text for it. At that time the European Commission was trying to push software patents - under influence of heavy lobbying from M$ and other companies and against the will of the European Parlement. I was strongly opposed to this (for reasons you can find elsewhere) and added a verse to this song (actually the first).
