Story behind the song
I wrote the melody for this song on a toy piano when I was babysitting my baby cousin, Ireland. The sound of it was also inspired by this tunnel in I think the Detroit airport that has all these colors on the wall and it plays this very ambient music that almost wasn't even music. It was just very soothing. I was there shortly after writing the melody on the toy piano and the song I felt was really just about memories, and when I was almost done with the song it made me think of Blade Runner and the one quote, so I put it in the song and it fit perfectly. It's probably my favorite thing I've ever written.
