An interpretation of the SSB in the spirit of Hendrix. If I was actually a guitarist it might have turned out decent...

Story behind the song
Jimi Hendrix, in his Woodstock performance of the Star Spangled Banner, delivered a mad combination of guitar growls, feedback, phasing and various other psychedelic effects resembling gunfire or bombs (including a short rendition of the military theme Taps) which had very little music in it at all, and the crowd didn't even know it had ended until Jimi started playing Purple Haze. When I first heard it, I was quite ambivalent... I thought "Is this guy on drugs?" which indeed he was, but also "Man, those sounds are really cool." So I tried to make this in the same style, with lots of odd sounds and dissonance, and I like listening to it even though my recorder kept messing up.
