I'm just this girl from Amsterdam whose always been doing stuff with music and writing and now that my life is really conventional (studying french and philosophy) I have more than ever a need to experiment with the rest the world has to offer. I don't know what it has to do with my music, but seeing as I write the music and music is expression, who knows...

Story behind the song
I was visiting the open day of the conservatorium of groningen in a difficult time in the world and in my life. This song was written there. It's about a certain invasion that shifted my thoughts about a certain nation, and an invasion which stirred up who I was back then.
Lyrics
Leaves are falling the true cliche, your castle is rising and everyone makes way. It's you around the globe, inside everyone's mind; you're right we're all insane... cruel cruel individual, can't you see the mirror you hold reflects who you are? So why are you hiding, why won't you watch? What is it you won't see? Fall is on the rise, leaves in streams through the ruins of our dreams takes us with a current and leaves us ashore... where will you be and what will you do? Now that you find yourself alone now that you've found yourself a home Beliefs are breaking in your hands, you're dealing kings of aces beyond demand it's you around the table dealing up your chances win and leave us lost in this game Poor poor individual, can't you see the star you hold is on its way down so why are you raising, why won't you feel The forces of gravity? chorus
