Story behind the song
After the idea of covering a painting I used with the song "Esther", I decided to make another painting-cover, this time covering a painting made by my great-grandfather Laurens van Kuik, known as "Ik Die Ben" (I who am", in dutch). The painting has a very powerful but scary aura, which I tried to bring in music. I think the outcome is quite interesting.
