Story behind the song
Eshoo made the beat....he didn't like it at first but I did when i heard it and i found a rhyme i made that went with it. This was my first actual attempt at a decent verse. In the middle of the track the layout screwed up so we used a completely different beat that Eshoo had stashed and called it a "remix". For those who didn't understand the song, it's all about the struggles we've gone through for the last 400 years, and how the music industry, as successful as we are in it, is a revolving door for the people trying to make it. Essentially if you are not willing to give up your music, lyrics, flow, voice, rhymes, albums, and money to the label you are with you are no better than the locs...you come in, get fed, get a place to stay, then getdafucout when your time runs out or transferred if you cause problems for your label. That's what the first verse was about, anyway.
