Story behind the song
It's the same old line "you don't know what you got till it's gone..." I didn't appreciate the girl as much as I should have, and I did some bad things, but I believe love always deserves another chance. What good is learning from your mistakes if you can't correct them. One of the lines "it's shit that it took me so long, to realize where I belong" describes exactly how I feel. It's so cruel that you realize where you belong after you've left or been left. One bit of advice I can give now is when your in love don't think for a second that it will always be there if you don't look after it. Nothing stays in good shape if you don't look after it! So never take your eyes off love.
