"I was just testing new gear with this one, " says Evinger.
"The vocals are entirely ad lib. I was just testing a new vocal microphone, not really paying attention to what I was singing at the time. When I played it for a few people, they really really dug it, so Sean did a quick bass line and we added it to the list."
The extended live version has really become quite a house favorite. It's quite different from the CD, with the Unit just vampin' freestyle.
