This is a quick one about the experience of writing and producing one's own album. I like the simple beat, and the lyrics are pretty OK.

Lyrics
To find your voice Two years in the making, and I guess it turned out You just heard less than half of the tracks I’ve churned out I’ve spent a lot of spare time refining my rhyming And recorded for hours streamlining my timing I’ve made hundreds of beats that deserve deletion All in various incomplete states of completion I’ve got Microsoft Word files just two lines long Representing misguided attempts at a song To find your voice you’ve got to loose it I’ve tried every style of delivery And rocked the small stage where you get in for free I’ve abused microphones with unfortunate attempts At sounding clever that never ended up making sense I’ve derived, I’ve contrived, and I’ve weeded out the worst I’ve strived to salvage everything that had any worth I’ve polished and shined, tryin’ to make this stuff glimmer It’s kept me up late, and I’ve even skipped dinner To find your voice you’ve got to loose it The creative process can be a long, bumpy ride I think I’ve made something in which I can take pride I think I’ve broken new ground, and created my own style That’ll make your feet move, and will make your lips smile So I guess what I’m saying is this was rewarding If anyone actually hears the recordings Thanks for coming, come back please, I’d like that a lot I promise to keep giving this all I’ve got
