Lyrics
Stone Cold Corruption (A tribute to Bush) All your life was based on trash. Spent your days just dreaming of cash. Let it go cause you know it wont last till tomorrow. There you sit stoned in your years. Can't hide your smile, you can't hide you fears. I can see those tracks from your tears rolling down your face You're gonna drown in your own corruption. You're gonna die from a stone cold corruption. All those people that you knock down. And all the people that you push around. Just like ghosts they come and haunt you now, cause it's over. Tell us what you gonna do. The end is near and you know you're through. Tell us all what you gonna do cause it's over. You're gonna drown in your own corruption. You're gonna die from a stone cold corruption.Stone cold corruption. All your life was based on trash. Spent your days just dreaming of cash. Let it go cause you know it wont last till tomorrow. There you sit stoned in your years. Can't hide your smile, you can't hide you fears. I can see those tracks from your tears rolling down your face. All those people that you knock down. Hello there ~Jerry & Candace~, I can feel the anger ooozing thru this one, "Stone Cold Corruption". Fitting lyrics about a problem that exists in several areas these days, but the word politics and figures there in, does embody it all..........Bush/Cheney took the cake and tried to eat it all~!!!!!!!! I love the rythm and drive this song has......with bongos settin' pace and the guitars slidin' & punchin' the melody....... you know you've gotta listen, there's something happening here!!!!!!!!!! Your vocals have that "I've had enough" attitude and carries the lyrics with confirmation of "this is what's goin' on and here's what's gonna happen"!!!!!!!!! The title says it all, but the song lives up to that message and tells the tale in a powerful way......... and flows perfectly with the melody!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If Bush/Cheney had a conscience, this song is what should have been running through their heads to have stopped their goings on......nuff said!!!!!!!!! There's never enough stars for

Nicely done! Stone cold corruption sums it up very well. Love the guitar work! Kind of hits all your influences in one track. Especially Young and Hendrix.
