Story behind the song
I needed a masterpiece to end tha album and serve as a counterweight to "Destiny". Plus, i needed a track that could serve as a single, a show-ender, and a "fan-maker" in case i only had a 15 minute set (for shows). And this was it. I love everything about this song. It and "Destiny" are the 2 i'm sending to college radio & promoting, b/c they're the two that best display what i'm all about as a man, artist, and a producer.
Rappers & producers will appreciate this track even more than casual listeners, cuz they'll understand just how hard it was to do something like this. And remember, i never use samples- everything you hear i composed myself.

3 weeks later our armies meet on the sands by tha beach
i confront their leaders, trade insults then head back to my fleet
tha battle starts but i discard it as i rest by the trees
we're takin losses from a brutal charge led by their king
i see my soldiers taking a beating yet i'm eating delicacies

and just when things are lookin their worst
and they're pushin us back to tha sea
i charge into battle, snatching victory from the jaws of near defeat
their soldiers panic the second they see my face

and in an instant their leaders are slain
my soldiers chant my name as i swing my blades and quickly deplete their ranks

As we plunder their kingdom, i sense their leader tryin to escape to freedom
if i can... there!! down by the shore, i see him retreating

so I caught up wit him then politely asked him why he was leaving
i killed his guards then grabbed that coward as he was begging and pleading
then i dragged him back kicking and screaming in front of his people
and there i challenged him to a duel, the winner would rule the republic
tha natives begged him to fight me an stop the death and destruction
he pleaded for peace til i roared and slapped the fool in disgrace
he swung and missed then i broke his ribs before he could reach for his blades
as he fell to his knees i landed a roundhouse that shattered his face
an like that, the battle was over and i'd conquered his race
disappointed, i finished him off, severed his head and snatched his crown
in horror, his followers bowed as i sat on his throne and addressed the crowd
"I stand before you as the undisputed master of my kind
but i won't rest until i'm known as the greatest of all time"
