Voiceks Voiska was the first band in Latvia to play ska music and still is the best known ska band in Latvia. Unlike many non-english ska bands Voiceks Voiska sings only in their native language - Latvian. The band does not strictly stick to some subgenre of ska - while most of the music can be described as two-tone ska, the band also takes brief excursions into punkrock, russian rock music, latino music and other styles. The result, however, always is very upbeat, danceable and fun.
