From the concept of 'Smoke On The Water'. Rewritten lyrics for the Glory of the Lord, no set composition, just sort of jamming in the key of G. Let it play for a minute, it gets better.
Just me and my piano
It's just me, my piano, some good friends who love to jam for the Lord.
Story behind the song
These lyrics were written by Pastor Don Black. Just the drums, guitar, and a bass, no piano on this one, I do lead vocals and bang a tamborine during a practice session for a ministry call. This song is only used for praise and worship, and outreach ministry calls, and never for profit since the concept is similar to Smoke On The Water. Please forgive the mistakes made, it was just a practice session, but we wanted to share it. Like God's Word and salvation, it should be free!!!
Lead Vocals: Christa Ward;
Backup Vocals: Rod January;

Lyrics
Words by: Pastor Don Black
Verse 1:
I wanna tell you all about a man
That you need to know
He's no like any other
He lived a long time ago
He turned the world upside down
He's still changing it today
He's the Alpha and Omega
The Truth, the Life and the Way
Chorus:
He walked on the water
He calmed the stormy sea
He walked on the water
And gave His life, to set us free, yeah
Verse 2:
No matter where you've been
He's been there before
He sticks closer than a brother
He's already at the door
When you're weak, He'll be strong
His grace is sufficient for you
Get ready He's coming back
He'll be coming back for you
Chorus, Verse 2, Chorus x2
