Inspiration for this song:
June Lockhart is pitching episodes of Lassie on TV. They run clips of one show where she fixes a flat tire, shoots a mountain lion, steps in a bear trap (Lassie fetches the C clamp so she can remove her foot --still attached!). Then June delivers baked goodies to the men, who shower her with condescending chauvinism.
I got the first two measures of the melody after several hours of listening to "After Bathing at Baxters" (Jefferson Airplane).
Instrumental was played by trio thru one SM 58 into a G3. I added vocal, fiddle duet, and flute (using U 87 or DI) to an A3440, bounced back to Peak, won a dispute over length of lead break by deleting 3 measures of it, converted to mp3, and viola! There you are.
