Welcome to the Here I post my most experimental stuff for your feedback and listening pleasure. Tracks that come here I wouldn?t necessarily compile an album with but they usually make it to a show or some kind of exclusive release. When dreams started to dictate that I develop my craft from page to stage around 2002, I started flipping through the back of my high school rhyme books. Pursuing a professional recording career meant a need for more studio experience which led me to many different people and studios; Hence a variety of sounds. I think that my different cultural influences are a strong selling point. While for a long time I have leaned predominantly on my western influences, experimenting with different styles, vocal arrangements and qualities of my voice have cultivated my sound to be more distinctive. Featured here on the training ground is mix tape 1 ?Ready or not?. Visit the for the photo albums, radio station and more?

Story behind the song
Produced by Kabir Bonner

Engineered by Ali at Mainsource Muzik

If you’ve ever heard music from the group NACIAMAJ then you’ve probably heard some of the most conscious of lyrics over the sickest of hip hop beats. All of us being peeps since high school and doing our own thing since, we finally made a solid reconnection at the turn of the Millennium. This was a time when Jamaica was being raped as a brand more worldwide then ever before and in every crevice from music to tourism to fashion. Jamaica is everyone’s selling point except Jamaicans who are very aware of a history of seeing very little to no positive return from the exportation of our name goods and services. 'Step up' is a call to all, home and away to face any such challenge and at the end of the day "free up yourself" like only Jamaicans know how - self included
