Lyrics
I saw an elderly duo dancing, as if not a care in the world. They were dancing across the dance floor, just like a boy and a girl. And nothin' seemed to matter, there troubles were left all behind. A smile wiped away, my blues of today, as they 2 stepped in 3/4 time. I watched them turnin' and twirlin', I thought "what a beautiful sight. To dance away there worries of the day, if just for a saturday night. From across the room I was watching, as they stared into each others eyes. Nothing you could say could take that away, as they 2 stepped in 3/4 time. The band had left for the evening, and the jukebox was turned way down low. And as I was leavin', they danced one more for the road. And nothin' seemed to matter, there troubles were left all behind. And a smile wiped away,my blues of the day, as they 2 stepped in 3/4 time. I saw an elderly duo dancing.
