Story behind the song
Jammin little tune about the RAVE act the govt. tryin to pass, it's a bad thing, it says that anyone owning the land or building where any type of gathering, including a house party can be arrested and imprisoned as well as fined if there is drugs being used. It's also about the woodstock reunion festival that has died down the same time the bill was introduced. The song means alot to me. I used to go to the woodstock reunion every year at yasgurs farm in Bethel, NY. Just walk around the feilds talkin to people, and parting. People used to walk around and shout, "Doses, get your doses!" and this one time, I heard someone shout, "Get you Bomb ass doses!" then a few years later, that quieted right down, they only would say, "doses" really quiet and slow, then run off. Now they don't say it at all. It's sad really. I miss the freedom we once possesed here in america, the freedom to have a good time!
