Kodak memories -- Flashes of Photo~Synthesis
Candid camera’d angles taking pictures of my life
Photoshooting memories as I counteract the strife
With development of negatives cutting like a knife
But still I smile
All the while looking 4 a background of beauty
Seeking horizons of splendor -- cuz I feel it's my duty
To keep it real
And since I feel benevolent to a fault
I unlock hidden treasures from my precious vault
Sharing jewels of compassion til logic urges me to halt
For there are those who mistake my kindness 4 weakness
So that's why I speak this language of guile
Since they don’t know what really lies behind my smile
The camera’s lens is shaded by illusions I’ve created
Tranquil panoramic views reveal discolored hues sedated
While exposing abstract clues
Of seeing reds & feeling Blues
And yet my smile is like a little child’s
Wrapped up in make believe
I’m sorry to deceive
But my camera only shows U what I want U to see
Sharp scissors cut away at displaced reality
With picture perfect auras from xeroxed mentality
Duplicating views to a maximum degree
My personality unveils an iLL fatality
With a smile that flashes bright lights that blind
Disorienting the curiosity of those who seek to find
What images & impressions I’ve scanned within my mind
Collages of secrets ironically aligned
With the lens of my cameras eye
Arial snapshots sprout wings and fly high
While photos of struggles always seem to compile
I still go with the flow -- Streamin' like the river Nile
As I look into the camera -- strike a pose -- and *smile*
