Story behind the song
I wrote this song for two girls that I used to work with, which explains the lyrics about "not going anywhere" during a shift and "leaving" when we punch out. People you thought you knew can be so different when you see them in a different environment. "Good Night Now" is a song of apprehension and appreciation.
