It's really no great mystery
When I look at God's Word
And read the ancient history
And see how faithful He has been
Dealing with the sons of men
Delivering again and again,
Faith is not so hard.
Faith is not alone
When I remember honestly
I look at what God's done
He has been so good to me
I see a person sinking down
Lifted up and dancing now
Clothed in white to wear a crown,
Faith is not alone.
Faith comes shining in my darkest times
Gives me a song when there's no reason or rhyme.
Faith is not so blind
When I look with my heart's eyes
At what lies behind
It is really no surprise
That there's a city made by One
Who radiates more than the sun
And lions and lambs lay down
