One of the best days of my life was meeting a girl in a park and having a mini-romance as the late afternoon sky darkened. This one is about that day, and draws off the emotions I was feeling to paint a picture.

Story behind the song
I wanted to use very sparse guitar in the piece and relied more on vocals then instruments to get my emotions across. Many people have told me this is a sad song that evoked powerful emotions, but I would love to hear what you think.
Lyrics
Still early, but the sun is moving softly down in the sky Inching it's way to inky black Parting ways for the moon to come back Shadows fall long now spilling over tall trees, like giants, scraping the sky I'm toppling over and feeling dizzy As the summer wind keeps the flowers busy Don't want to say good-bye To the dying day Want to stay just this way Look out here comes the dying day. I feel in love with you a thousands times in that late afternoon. into your blue eyes sparkling colors bright as the sun threw emeralds of dying light. Don't want to say good-bye To the dying day hmmm Want to stay just this way Look out here comes the dying day. Shadows fall long now spilling over tall trees, like giants, scraping the sky I'm toppling over and feeling dizzy As the summer wind keeps the flowers busy Don't want to say good-bye To the dying day Want to stay just this way Look out, here comes the dying day. Don't want to say good-bye To the dying day Sadness whispers "Here to stay" Oh, here comes the dying day.
