A love song I wrote years ago and in an earlier version sang it by request at the wedding party of Robin Williamson of the Incredible String Band. This unplugged demo was recorded by Tony Duncan.

I once sang an even more basic form of this song by request at Robin (Incredible String Band) Williamson's wedding reception party. Also several attempts to arrange this song have taken place with musicians I have worked with and it has evolved but for some reason never been recorded how I would like it to be. It's a song I have big plans for but as yet they are still to be attained!
It was on a summer's day not long ago
That I met my girl and I love her so
Was it because she looked so fine
Or the way that she smiled
That left me so enraptured, totally beguiled.
Now my days are filled with wonder
And my love's growing still
Ever since I surrendered and I always will
Was it because of the way she looked
Or the way that she smiled
That left me so enraptured, totally beguiled.
Now my love I need to tell you
How much I need you so
And how I lived without you, God only knows
Was it how you came to me
Or the way that you smiled
That left me so enraptured, totally beguiled
That left me so enraptured
Ever yours enraptured
I'm ever yours enraptured, totally beguiled.
