I wrote this piece for a film scoring project wherein my professor made up a scene ... he wrote out all the timing notes but there was no visual or anything to reference. It was a very interesting project. The scene features a woman in rural Georgia who is reunited with her son who has returned from war.
The instrumentation I used, interestingly, includes orchestral strings, harp, slide guitar, piccolo, and snare drum. All the sequencing was done in Apple's GarageBand.
