A disturbing and invigorating amalgam of grind, doom, Goth, Americana, and acid-drenched Texas redneck. Industrial-tinged and menacing but simultaneously organi
There's a smell on the air in rural Spring Hill and it ain't pretty. Take a big whiff of a SEBOS CD and see if the odorous particles have stuck. That's cow manure, man. Lots of cow manure. This is the breeding ground for SEBOS - a sweaty, smelly, mosquito infested world. You see, SEBOS is the brainchild of one man, David J. Patterson. He writes, plays, records, produces, masters and "births" SEBOS from his own Beaumont Studios. The result is an unusual blend of heavy rock, blues and country, all filtered through shaky guitars, keyboards and a drum machine. In the past, David worked in a group setting as vocalist in Tampa Bay area bands including Lead, Angel Spitt and Pale Rider, but he just couldn't get along with others. Now on his own with SEBOS, David has the perfect vehicle for projecting his musical vision to the world. SEBOS cites The Beatles, Sonic Youth, Kyuss, Melvins, High on Fire, Prince and Tom Waits among his favorite artists, but it may take a few listens to hear their influence. The music SEBOS most enjoys tends to be a little different. Not overly experimental to attract only fringe elements, but different enough to be surprising. That's what SEBOS hopes to create with his music.

Story behind the song
Feeling old? Nah. You're earning the fade.
Lyrics
Earn the Fade My bullet hole Is a place to hide Just try and get me out But don't be surprised When I clamp on your hand And get your rabies shot You know what they say about gift horses' mouths Well, I'll look right in and reject it right out Blame it on you for my spit in your face Cause I'm hell-bent determined and I'm earning the fade There's a place up the road Where I get my fill The boards are black If I'm not there Then call off the search Cause I ain't coming back Got some time to sow my oats and see Maybe this isn't what's right for me Hope that these hard lines won't get in the way Cause I'm hell-bent determined and I'm earning the fade Ever been to Four Points Well, let's go for a ride The city looks so small from way up here I think I'll go ahead and dive into the wind And if I can I'll take along all my friends It's just a rough patch, I'll make it through okay It I weren't hell-bent determined on earning the fade Feeling low but it’s under control Yeah, there's another stripe and I'm earning the fade My thin soul can't take it any more There is no redemption when you're earning the fade Growing old ain't graceful to behold I've got another line and I'm earning the fade Letting go when it's going down the hole I can't be bothered cause I'm earning the fade Heavy is this load but we need more stones What's a deep scar when you're earning the fade It's shiny gold but it all corrodes I'm hell-bent determined and I'm earning the fade
