Modern Rock
Kicking Water was a great alternative rock band in the late Nineties through the new Millenium (1997 - 2001). They put out 2 full length CDs and two EPs in that time. Not bad for an independant act! Plus, they have almost another CD's worth of material they never recorded that is sitting on demo tapes and CDs waiting to be re-discovered.

Story behind the song
It was the last song collaboration between Keith and I before Bryan and Carey joined. Keith is a huge U2 fan and some of the guitar work here reminds me of the Edge. I like the sentiment and the backing vocals Dan added in the studio really made the latter half of the tune.
