Modern Rock
Kicking Water was a great alternative rock band in the late Nineties through the new Millenium (1997 - 2001). They put out 2 full length CDs and two EPs in that time. Not bad for an independant act! Plus, they have almost another CD's worth of material they never recorded that is sitting on demo tapes and CDs waiting to be re-discovered.

Story behind the song
This song was written, I believe, out of an old riff that Keith had and it shaped itself after the band Solid Frog, who had put a CD out of similar music in 1998 or 1999. Carey's lyrics are beautiful, but I dare not speculate on their meaning. If you see him on the street, you should ask him about it.
