Too much time spent watching "Celebrity Justice" and reading about stars who try to walk the thin line between celebrity and private life.
Lyrics
Joke One, two, three, four, five Your place on the charts keeps hope alive Often ask ‘why and how did I get this way?’ It used to be about integrity And then they hook you just being kind And they lure you ‘til you sign on the line And on the television I see your face Trying to explain how you got disgraced, going, First Bridge “Sometimes you think I’m crazy, Sometimes you might be right I feel inspired lately To share my grief tonight Chorus Hoping that your lawyer’s going to clear your name No ‘duchas’ in the wallet, that’s the price of fame And that’s a joke (that’s a joke) That’s a joke (that’s a joke) Lost your best friend and that’s the price you paid Write a tell-all when you feel betrayed And that’s a joke, that’s a joke They keep saying ahah, ahah Now you’ve changed your mind Complain that you just want a private life What’s the difference now that the public knows You told everybody on a TV show And they knew you were the best one yet So they rib you every chance that they get Nobody told you to bare your soul And tell all the world how you lost control, boy Second Bridge Sometimes you act so crazy You know I’m always right I feel desire, baby To poke some fun tonight Chorus Break First Bridge Ahah, ahah…
