Indie low-fi with accoustic guitar, vocals, keyboards, sparse percussion
Low fi - kinda moody, except when it's not. Mostly accoustic guitar with vocals, keyboards, electric guitar accents and sparse percussion. Right now, it's all just me.

Story behind the song
There's been a debate going on in my town about the stone walls and cairns winding through much of the woodlands. Some say the indians built them - they were places of magic for them. Some say the settlers made them. Many, including myself, believe some were made by the indians and some, the early Europeans. Regardless, they are very special places.
Lyrics
Walls Looking at the walls snaking through the trees I often wonder who built them Standing on hillside Taking in the breeze Sometimes I'd swear I hear voices A civilization slips by in a blink in time What was theirs is what I now call mine Circle around the fire sitting on a stone in my heart I know this is my home Tossing in a log Adding to the flame I have a feeling this was done before A rustle in the leaves a creaking in the trees A path from now that leads to then A civilization slips by in a blink in time What was theirs Is what I now call mine Circle around the fire Sitting on a stone In my heart I know this is my home
