Hootenanny is a word my Mom used to say now and then. I had been searching for a title for this song for quite sometime when I finally broke the American Slang dictionary out and started looking for cool words. Well, when I came across hootenanny, I knew that was the title. It is a word that you use when you don't know what to call something.
All my songs are essentially live. They are recorded in one take and no studio tricks (like punch-ins, overdubbing, or cut and paste) were used.
