Story behind the song
Recorded live 5/11/05 at a private performance. We were hired by a very rich eccentric who believed the ancient calendar that ran out on 05-12-2005 foretold the end of the world. He hired half a dozen strippers, a clown, a pony and us as his entertainment. This song was born @12:12 am in the morning of the 12th, central daylight savings time, after a command performance of the End Of The World Polka, commissioned just for this event, or so he thought. Refreshments were served. Short version: the world didn’t end and the clown got the hookers. And he stiffed us.
