A song that I had written dedicated to the different walks of life that all people must make. It's semi-gospel, but still strong with country spirit.
She was a young girl wiping tables
At the cafe she called "hell"
And her strong determination
Helped her family out with bills
She kept on walking even though
She didn't know what for
She kept on walking
She kept on walking
Just a little more
He was a soldier in the field
And the picture in his hand's
The only thing that kept him going
The baby boy in his homeland
He kept on walking cause he knew
What he was fighting for
He kept on walking
He kept on walking
Just a little more
Sometimes life gets hard
And sometimes life is cruel
When you have love inside your heart
There ain't nothing you can't do
So you've gotta take a stand
And hold onto your faith
And keep hoping that tomorrow
Will be a brighter day
And you keep on walking...
Well the blood ran down HIS face
The crown of thorns upon HIS head
HE could have given up on us right then
But HE chose to walk instead
HE kept on walking cause HE knew
What HE was dying for
HE kept on walking
HE kept on walking
Just a little more
HE kept on walking
He kept on walking
Just a little more
(Thank you Jesus)
