I had to write a song about this at some point. It is acoustic, and totally not what this band is about, but hey... it's two in the morning.

Emo rock, in it's purest form, since the songs are pretty much whatever is floating around inside Richard's head. It sounds much better thanks to Ness, Jimmy,
Hey, remember the band 35 Pennies? Neither do I. Remember Ignite? That's what I thought. Well, now this band is either 35 Pennies with a new singer/songwriter, or Ignite minus a piano player and constant pressure to "play softer". Yeah, I am Richard, and I write and sing the songs and play acoustic guitar... which is hardly ever needed. Ness plays the Electric, Jimmy slaps the bass, and Eric beats the living daylights out of everything... which is why we gave him sticks and a drumset. Enjoy the music.

Story behind the song
Silly crushes are the devil.
Lyrics
Silly Crush Turned inside out, I’m sure that I would be a mess inside. True self revealed, I’m sure that you would rather I just hide. My mind, it knows exactly what it is I need to do. But I just can’t, and all that is holding me back is you. And I don’t know what it is you do to my mind. But whenever I go looking to find some sanity… all I find is you. Make sense of this, and I’ll believe you can do anything. Give me one chance, and I’ll be ready to give you a ring. The way your smile can make me stupid, it’s a big concern. This is just another silly crush, but then again I guess I’ll never learn. One day I will regain control. One day I’ll grow up, and you will no longer have this hold on me. But for right now I love your hair. And your eyes and your smile and that thing you just did right there… No sense in this, so why can’t I just let this go? When I find out, you can be sure you’ll be the last to know.
