The Rectum Satans are pioneers of a subgenre known as brown metal. Currently the lineup consists of Nekrocolon (vocals), Polyp ov Pazuzu (instruments) and Emperor Encopresis (keyboards).The music draws from a variety of genres, mostly black and death metal, although Viking metal, techno, folk and doom are explored as well.
