Nice little boogie rocker (REDONE 10/25/01) (Time 4:07)
The story of Rocky and Bullwinkle that was never told.
Watch it, Bullwinkle,
'cus we're gonna transform your friend.
Rocky needs to get a life,
put his straight man days to an end.
We're gonna take him to a club
and we're gonna have his money spent.
Squirrel, squirrel, squirrel,
gettin' down on the dance floor tonight.
Rock and roll is your game,
hittin' on every girl in sight.
Forget Boris and the bitch!
They can't dance to save their lives.
He's so drunk, he can't fly;
he needs to call a cab.
Too much vodka and acorns
But the girls think he's fab.
He still gets up to dance
after falling to the floor.
He takes another sip,
he doesn't care if he trips.
He's gonna party down
and not get home till half past four.
Bullwinkle's worried,
wondering where that squirrel's gone.
He's going all around town
and within fifty miles from home.
But Rocky's five states over,
little has Bullwinkle known.
Squirrel, squirrel, squirrel,
he can play some mean guitar.
He can't sing, but he can play;
chances are he'll get very far.
He forgot his moose-friend
and his new friends are way below par.
He's under contract from some agent
no one's heard of before
'Cus all the major dudes
showed our little friend the door.
He ain't making too much,
but he loves what he does.
He takes another gig,
He doesn't care if he's sick.
And now the rock and roll squirrel's
showin' all the world who's boss.
Contract's up!
One more gig before Rocky retires.
He's now got several million bucks,
and everything he desires.
But now he's turning sixty-five;
let the younger folk catch some fire.
Squirrel, squirrel, squirrel,
now he's headin' back home for good.
There's no sign of Bullwinkle,
and our squirrel friend goes out for a look.
The moose is still gettin' funky,
his new friend is now a monkey,
And the rock and roll squirrel's
gonna sit down and write a book.
Squirrel, squirrel, squirrel
Squirrel, squirrel, squirrel
Squirrel, squirrel, squirrel Yeah!
