Song about Killing Prince Charming
Frustration with women. Basically, the whole song is talking about how girls seem to be waiting for the perfect man. So basically this is a protest song saying that that man doesn't even exist. And while Prince Charming may have existed that now it doesn't matter cause I killed him....
I got the idea for this song while listening to Something Corporate's Punk Rock Princess. I was driving to Seattle when I got the idea, and wrote it down in the car. I finished writing the song in five minutes after I sat down to work on it later that night. It was perfect.
I know your waiting for someone
To come and sweep you off your feet
I know your waiting for the perfect kiss
To wake you from the deepest sleep
To protect you from the things
That scare you in your life
But tomorrow comes and he's not there
You lie awake wondering why
Well he's not there cause I killed him
I killed prince charming last night
I shot him off of his white stallion
So i'd have a chance to win you heart tonight
No matter how hard i try i cant be what you expect
I cant be some hero who saves damsels in distress
So i wont even bother trying to compete with perfect
But with prince charming gone i can handle the rest
Well he's gone because i killed him
I killed prince charming last night
I shot him off of his white stallion
So i'd have a chance to win your heart tonight
So if you want to be a princess
I'll make you feel like one wait and see
All i need is one chance to show you
That I'm the one you need
But the prince that you had in mind
Is now buried six feet under
And all that's left is me
His Killer
So eat your heart out prince charming
And watch me dance on your grave
Im taking your horse and
The damsel you tried to save
So eat your heart out X4
