Daydream song.
I had this riff for awhile...even most of the lyrics except for the last two lines in verse two. Dated this one girl from central Wisconsin. She had described a scene or experience that seemed so peaceful that I used it for those last two lines.
Yeah, the Beatles did that alot too...borrowed from what they heard uttered out of other peoples mouths. "I know what its like to be dead" is a prime example of that from the Beatles"SHe Said, She Said."
Sheep
(J.Upham)c 1996
Sky may fall, but todays not that day
Put your boots on and greet another day
Alot to say and theres much to be done
Feel the sunshine reign on my parade
Summer breeze carries on a summer song
Words will come if you hum it all day long
Sheep they graze merrily on the hill
Is this a daydream or am I out there still
