Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and a bunch of other hip-hop artists came through San Antonio in August of 2003. They had a competition over the radio station called 98.5 the beat to battle it out on stage for a deal with the Roc. I submitted my freestyle to Hamm, the DJ at the beat, and waited for a reply. The next day I got an email from him talking about he was gonna call me, so I was gassed...So gassed that I didn't scroll down to see that he said he was gonna call on monday. On monday, i didn't have my phone so I missed one of the most important calls of my life, cuz them niggas on stage was wack! Ima get in sooner or later though...
