Demos from a professional songwriter
I am a songwriter with demos of my work. I have been a staff writer for an established Nashville publisher, and I have several songs on contract with major publishers. I have also been teaching songwriting since 1993 for the Dayton/Cincinnati area in affiliation with the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).

Story behind the song
I wrote this Christmas song for an original music by the After School Club at SouthBrook Christian Church in Centerville, Ohio. It's a home demo, and I'm not much of a producer - so please forgive me for the production quality. Believe it or not, this song was actually supported in the musical by about 15 kids playing cow-bells. Martha Barto, who directed that group, barely maintained her sanity but did a great job of getting the kids to a good performance level.
