Story behind the song
this song has a really wierd story behind it. I had scheduled for ashley to record the vocals at noon one day. So i woke up around ten and sat down at the computer with a cup of coffee to prepare the mix for her to record over it, when, shock! shock! horror! horror! there was an error in the song i had wanted her to record and it wouldnt open! I was screwed! So I decided to write a new one. I finished the song as she pulled up in the drive way. to add to the drama, she had undergone a novacain shot at the dentists appointment she attended that morning and so her mouth was still slightly numb (no that's not where the title came from)! By the session, i knew we had something good. later on that night i brought matt in to do the guitar work and he nailed it. by the end of the day i had a finished product that was not at all what i had expected. Ashley and matt both totally made the track what it is. props to them on this one!
