As the end approches the sound is undeniable. Will it be embraced or shunned?
The Silent Sound
I saw the sunrise from the
Eastern Shore
Now I see it set through
barred shut doors
I look in wisdom’s eye
And see a frown
Thought I was a Prince
But I wear no crown
Time has come along
played It’s tricks on me
too blind to see
The fading memories
Every silence starts
Within a sound
I don’t hear it
I don’t around
To greet the silent sound
Ohhhh don’t turn around and greet the silent sound
Honor stands broken
Upon the past
Tears uncounted
I cried my last
I look to wisdom’s eye
And still see the frown
Thought I was a Prince
But I wear no crown
The silence surrounds me
Cold concrete gray
No mercy to be bought
Here on this day
Every silence starts
Within a sound
Though I don’t hear it
I turn around
Ohhhh Oh To greet the silent sound
Ohh Ohhh I Greet the silent sound
I look in wisdoms eye
And I see a frown
I thought I was a Prince
But I wear no crown
Every silence starts
Within a sound
I don’t hear it
But I turn around
Ohh ohhh to greet the silent sound
Ohhh ohhhh it’s all around
Greet the silent sound
Ohhh Ohhh forevermore
In the silent ground
Ohh Ohhh it’s all around
The silent sound
In the silent ground
