A star in the East lit their way,
Wise men from afar came to stay
What gifts they brought this tiny king
While praises the angels did sing.
This little child would change our life
His future showed struggles and strife
His Mother held Him safe and secure,
Loving Him with heart oh so pure.
Remember His birth is a gift
Son of Man, our spirits you lift,
Your birth was a treasure so rare
We thank you, Lord, with silent prayer.
