Mark Wilson is a solo acoustic performer based in St. Helens, Merseyside. Taking influence from artists such as Nick Drake,John Martyn & Bert Jansch, Mark blends classic songwriting with innovative ideas and styles. Mark incorporates a wide range of approaches to guitar playing including tape looping, finger picking, slap technique and use of the guitar body as a percussive instrument. Marks voice has been described as powerful yet extremely warm, and accompanies his virtuoso guitar playing wonderfully.
