a protest song
With the anniversary of the collaspe of the World Trade Center in New York City, and the milestone of over 1000 Americans dead in Iraq, it seemed like a good time to record and post this song. It was written on the eve of George W Bush, under false pretenses, declaring war on Iraq in March 2003, and it is a simple cry from my heart. As you listen, raise your glass with me in a toast that one day we will look at the rest of the world as our neighbors, as our brothers and sisters; and not as that which is ours to conquer. Only then will there be any hope for future generations.
