A powerful female jim stienman type rock song with anti-abortion sentiments. If listening to the song makes just one woman think twice about the subject....and.... "DON'T TURN YOUR BACK ON IT BABY".....then it has been worthwhile!

Story behind the song
I wrote this song for our screenplay "One Life Too Many". It tells of a young woman who is about to have the life of her unborn baby terminated. The chorus screams "You can't go back on it baby".
Lyrics
A DAY TO REMEMBER Isn’t this just a day to remember With love all around us And beauty that is boundless Isn’t this why we keep on hanging on A smile in the morning A kiss without a warning When the darkness closes in Do we notice when the night begins When the rain is falling down You can’t see me crying-crying Isn’t this just a day to remember A blood drenched horizon Where beauty is subsiding Isn’t this when you feel you can’t carry on To live like an angel And die like a shadow Is there really anyone here Who can tell me when a life begins, please let me know now Now the morals they have gone And we shouldn’t steal the future anymore chorus You can go back on it baby Don’t turn your back on your baby There’s only you can change it It is in your hands Now please go back on it baby Don’t turn your back on it baby The one things that’s for sure T’will be a day to remember for you babe Instrumental break When it comes down to our young Can you tell me when the pain begins, I want to know now When the devil’s work is done Who will wash the guilt from off your door Repeat 1st Chorus twice (c) jON bATE 1998
