We have been described as Deep Purple meets 38 Special but we don't like being pigeon holed. A classic, hard rock sound with a hint of southern influence thrown

Story behind the song
I was trying to capture the feelings that a fugitive who was on the run his entire life might have, knowing someday he would have stop looking over his shouder and finally face his nemesis. I tried to use musical content and lyrical imagery to invoke some of those emotions.
Lyrics
Runnin It's been a long time comin' A Long time 'til now I'm tired of runnin I've gotta slow down Hangman's waitin Round the next bend If he catches me now It's gonna be my end I've spent a long time runnin' A lifetime out on the road I've used all my cunning But now I've got to face him I know now I've got to face him I know Too many times, he's only been one step away Shadows at night, creepin out behind my door And now it seems, I find it so hard to sleep Inside my mind, I can't take it any more I've spent a long time runnin' A lifetime out on the road I've used all my cunning But now I've got to face him I know now I've got to face him I know (Interlude->Solo) He stands before me A dark figure indeed A slight advantage Is all that I need My adrenaline's flowing My Reflex's high I shoot without knowing And then watch him die No more runnin' Killin' time out on the road I'll use all my cunning To find a place that I can call home Yes, No more runnin' Killin' time out on the road I'll use all my cunning To find a place that I can call home To find a place that I can call home To find a place that I can call home Copyright © 2004 - Gap Creek Road All Rights Reserved
