Driving Acoustic Guitar with African Percussion and multiple vocal harmonies.
jeff buckley solo electric vocal driven
Jeff Buckley's solo act meets Ani Difranco's methodology of expressive singing with a hint of Martin Sexton.
I got into music at a very young age. Starting out at a drummer in middle school I quickly realized that I had to be doing something melodic so I began to sing. The natural progression of course is to pick up a guitar when you start singing so I decided to give that a try and here I am years later writing songs and hopefully good ones. I just enjoy taking whatever melody is going through my head and just playing it no matter the style or instrumentation. From time to time I wonder if a style such as mine could ever be something that people would enjoy listening too so I'm putting some songs out there to see.

Story behind the song
This is without a doubt a personal mission statement. Basically I got out of a year long relationship and decided to look at the world differently. This song is basically just a plea for the opportunity for me to have some time to myself to figure out what is important in my life as well as the song itself being a means of helping me figure that out.
