The melody hit me as I was reading Julie's lyric. I recorded all tracks (including drums) using the keyboard. I have a set of midi drum pads but was too lazy to hook them up.
I’ll never get your crazy ways
You go on and on for days and days
You don’t let up until you’re done
Till the last drops drunk: till your eyes are glazed.
I’ll not forget your strong right arm
You hold the party with guts and charm
You won’t let go of anyone
Till the winds are still: till storms are calm.
CH:
But you knock the stuffing outta me
Your life travels twice my speed
“Maybe no tomorrow” your unspoken creed
That’s how you knock the stuffing outta me.
I can’t judge your way of life
You live for adventure, a magnet to strife
You plunge in till the battles won:
Till they beat the drum: till they play the fife.
CH:
But you knock the stuffing outta me
Your life travels twice my speed
“Maybe no tomorrow” your unspoken creed
That’s how you knock the stuffing outta me.
OUTRO:
You leave me breathless
Yes, you knock the stuffing outta me.
Turn me inside out
You knock the stuffing outta me.
